Attract + Retain

Students + Startups is the bridge between top talent and career advancing opportunities in San Antonio.

Our Belief

An internship at a startup or small business can profoundly impact one’s professional future and give growing companies a huge boost in talent and capacity. San Antonio’s future economy depends on attracting and retaining top talent, and we can help.

By connecting companies directly with vetted candidates, we lower the cost and risk associated with hiring, incentivize companies to participate and increase the potential for young professionals to call San Antonio home.

Our Impact

Founded in 2016, Students + Startups started as a partnership between San Antonio-based Trinity University, 80|20 Foundation and Geekdom. We have since expanded nationwide, and have connected 499 candidates to 148 startups and small businesses in San Antonio. Every year we strive to attract more applicants and company partners to continue to add value to the San Antonio economy and growing startup and small business community.
